First day of school - Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025 for first through 12th grades
Thanksgiving break - Nov. 26-28
Winter break - Dec. 22, 2025, through Jan. 2, 2026
Spring break - April 6-10
Last day of school (weather dependent) - Wednesday, June 10, 2026
2026-27 school year calendar
The district’s board of directors recently approved next year’s academic calendar. Key dates include:
First day of school: Sept. 1, 2026
Thanksgiving break: Nov. 25-27, 2026
Winter break: Dec. 21-Jan. 1, 2027
Spring break: April 5-9, 2027
Last day of school: June 15, 2027 (unless there are weather-related closures that must be made up at the end of the school year)
Late starts and waiver/inservice days may be added at a later date.

School board calendar
All regular school board meetings are held virtually and at the Lewisville Campus in room C-26, 406 NW 5th Ave., Battle Ground, WA. Most months, meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays starting at 6 p.m. Special meetings and work sessions may be held at different times.

Before- and after-school care
Right At School, a nationally recognized school enrichment provider, provides before- and after-school care for students in kindergarten through eighth grades. Care also is available during breaks, non-school days and summer. Learn more.
