Battle Ground Public Schools Citizens Advisory Committee

Battle Ground Public Schools is seeking members for its Citizens Advisory Committee. This committee meets once per month to give parents, guardians and community members an opportunity to share their perspectives on BGPS with district leaders and learn about initiatives and programs.

The first two meetings are open to the public, no RSVP or application required. Everyone is welcome. Both meetings will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Battle Ground High School media center (300 W. Main St., Battle Ground).

  • Thursday, Sept. 10: This meeting will focus on organizations that support BGPS.

  • Thursday, Oct. 8: This meeting will provide information and answer questions about the student safety and academic support levy.

Past input from the Citizens Advisory Committee has informed district decisions on facilities and strategic priorities, among other topics. We invite anyone who is interested in the committee to attend a meeting and learn more.
